2010 Spring Jackpot & Clinic Series: (March 6, April 17 & May 29)

Schedule for May 29: 

Mini-Clinic  - 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM  $25/person
 The mini-clinic is a great opportunity to prepare for the jackpot, learn schooling techniques to fix your show horse, or bring a young horse to get some training tips.  The clinic agenda will be based on rider's individual needs.

  
Lunch Break 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Bring a sack lunch to enjoy with the group or there are plenty of places to eat in
Nazareth (5 mi) or Tulia (12 mi).

Paid Warmups 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM - 10 minutes/$20
Does your horse need a schooling run?  Are you new to reining and just want to try a pattern with no pressure?  If you're unsure of the purpose of a paid warmup or how to do one, just ask!!  At no extra charge, Melanie Wilhelm will gladly instruct and guide you through the process.  Limited number of spots so please sign up in advance.

NRHA Rules Apply (including dress code)     Payback in all divisions!

GROUP PRACTICES & PRIVATE LESSONS:
Group practices are designed for those who want to better their reining skills in an informal group session. This is a good opportunity to come ride with others on great ground and prepare for upcoming shows in a show warm up setting. Learn how to prepare your horse at the show with fellow reiners. Melanie will be available for advice and assistance as needed for all participants. Cost is $25/person

TRAINING:
Monthly Rate $700 (includes board)
We specialize in producing young reining horses of the highest caliber. We do it carefully, we do it slowly, and we do it with the utmost attention to detail.Our philosophy is based on the idea that the foundation a young performance horse receives is vital to its success in the show pen. The building of this foundation cannot be rushed and there are no shortcuts.

SHOWING:
Daily Trainer Fee: $30/day for each day away from home.
Transportation cost is $1.00/mile and is split between the horses being hauled.
Lodging & meals are divided among the customers for each trip.
Entry fees, stalls, shavings, etc. are at owner's expense.

SALES:
All owners will be assessed a ten percent (10%) commission fee if horses are sold while in the care of Wilhelm Performance Horses. If there is another trainer or agent involved, any splitting of a commission shall be done through WPH.
